Galvanized round pipe is a welded steel pipe made from ordinary carbon steel that has been coated with a layer of zinc. This zinc layer acts as a protective barrier, effectively preventing the underlying steel from corroding and rusting, thereby significantly extending its service life. It combines the strength of steel with the corrosion resistance of zinc, offering advantages such as low cost, high strength, and excellent durability. It is one of the most common and economical steel products used in construction, structural, and municipal engineering projects.

Production process

1.Pipe Making (Welding)
Uncoiling: The carbon steel coil is unrolled.
Leveling: The steel strip is flattened.
Shearing & Welding: The leading and trailing ends of the strip are welded together for continuous production.
Forming: The strip is progressively formed into a circular shape through a series of rolls.
Welding: The seam is welded using high-frequency induction or resistance welding.
Trimming: Internal and external weld beads and burrs are removed.
Sizing: The pipe's outer diameter and roundness are precisely calibrated through finishing rolls.
Cutting: The continuous pipe is cut to the required length.
2.Galvanizing
Chemical Cleaning: The welded pipe undergoes degreasing, pickling, rinsing, and fluxing to remove all oil, rust, and oxide.
Hot-Dip Galvanizing: The cleaned pipe is immersed in a bath of molten zinc at approximately 450°C (840°F).
Wiping/Wiping: As the pipe exits the zinc bath, high-pressure air (or steam) is used to wipe the surface, controlling the coating thickness and creating a smooth, uniform layer.
Cooling: The galvanized pipe is cooled in a water tank to solidify the coating.
Inspection & Packaging: The final product is inspected for quality and then packaged for shipment.

A: We are a factory. Factories can ship directly without middlemen taking a cut. We offer the most favorable prices directly to customers.  

Q: How long is your delivery time?
A: If the goods are in stock, the delivery period is generally 5 to 10 days. If the goods are not in stock, the delivery period is 15 to 20 days, which depends on the quantity required.  

Q: Do you offer samples? Are they free or extra?
A: Yes, we can provide free samples within 500 grams, but the express delivery fee will be borne by the customer.  

Q: What are your payment terms?
A: If the contract amount is less than or equal to 3000 US dollars, 100% advance payment is required. If the contract amount is greater than or equal to 3000 US dollars, 30% T/T in advance is required. Before shipment, we will take photos of the finished products and send them to the customer. The customer can make the final payment and the goods can be dispatched.
