Our hot rolled steel plate begins its journey as a steel ingot or continuous casting billet. It is transformed, above the recrystallization temperature (typically over 1100ºC), into a marvel of engineering through multiple passes on the rolling mill. The plate's thickness spans a remarkable range from 1.2 to 200mm. The meticulous production process unfolds as follows:
Heating: The raw material is expertly heated to reach the plastic deformation temperature, a crucial step to refine the grain structure and eliminate any casting defects.
Rolling: In a symphony of precision, this stage is divided into rough rolling and finishing rolling. The billet undergoes numerous rolling passes to achieve the desired target thickness.
Cooling and Winding: Post-rolling, the steel strip is gently cooled using a sophisticated laminar cooling system before being elegantly coiled or cut into pristine single steel sheets.
